WINDER.
Now capturing unique images with your Widelux camera will be so much easier.
SPECS:
The Winder Arm for the Widelux F8 is made from precision-engineered aluminum alloy. It features a sleek, durable finish that is bead-blasted and anodized in black. This construction provides exceptional strength and resistance to extreme temperatures, making it a reliable companion in demanding shooting environments. Additionally, it may also fit the F7 model.
The Winder Arm for the F7 model is constructed from 30% BASF Ultramid, which is glass-fiber reinforced with black nylon using an injection molding process. Due to slight variations in diameter across different manufacturing dates of the F7 model, this material allows for some flex and adaptability, ensuring a secure fit across various F7 body types while still maintaining strength and durability.
64mm L X 38mm H X 22mm W
The Widelux Winder is designed to be a perfect fit for the Widelux F7 and F8 models.
If you have an older model, such as the F6B or F6, this winding arm will not fit. We will look into creating another version for the older models.
The handle can withstand temperatures ranging from -5 to 50 degrees Celsius.
For cleaning, a general household detergent can be used when necessary.
Rewinding film on a Widelux camera can be tough on your fingers. But no longer! This fully mechanical accessory improves the handling experience of your Widelux F7 and F8 models only by attaching seamlessly to the rewind knob.
The winder provides extra leverage, significantly reducing the effort needed to rewind your film. With its ergonomic design and size, film rewinding becomes quick, effortless, and pain-free, allowing you to focus more on capturing stunning panoramic images rather than struggling with the rewinding process.
Enjoy a smoother handling experience and make the most of your Widelux photography sessions!

“The Widelux Winder simplifies the rewinding process, making it quick, effortless and pain-free. As a huge fan of this awesome camera, I wanted to create something that would enhance the user experience and bring it to my fellow enthusiasts around the world.”
Sven Jurgensen
Widelux Winder Innovator and Photographer
Based in Cape Town, South Africa Sven Jurgensen loves photography, a passion inspired by his father, who loved shooting images with his Leica and Rolleiflex cameras. In his early twenties, Sven started using his first camera, a Hasselblad 500c, and discovered his deep interest in photography.
He began his career in the flexible packaging industry, focusing on photogravure, which helped him improve his technical skills and attention to detail. He then began photographing client products, creating editorial content for lifestyle magazines, and opening his first Kodak Minilab 30 years ago. Later, he moved into studio photography, working with advertising agencies and brands in 4X5, 120mm, and 35mm formats.
After spending years in the studio, Sven entered the publishing world. He owned several magazines about surfing, gardening, and fashion, contributing as a publisher and photographer. Today, Sven runs an advertising agency with his wife, Cheri.
They manage several large corporate clients while maintaining a strong connection to photography. His career has always been a mix of creativity, technical skill, and innovation.
Sven rediscovered analogue photography after the rise of digital photography. He experimented with many types of cameras, including vintage swing-lens and modern large-format systems, focusing on black-and-white photography. His work with the Widelux camera inspired him to create the Widelux Winder, an accessory that greatly improved his experience with the camera… and made his time exploring and shooting the beautiful scenery of South Africa’s Western Cape province even more pleasurable.
Sven dedicates a great deal of his free time to capturing the beautiful coastline, mountains and forests of Cape Town. His love for photography finds an outlet in one of the most beautiful parts of the world and his Widelux camera is always with him on his photographic forays.
